A home away from home
About Us
We offer a home (just like yours!) but with a different address, while dog parents are away on business or holiday. Our boarding "house parent" also goes to work during week days just like your human does, but instead of being left alone at home, here we have lots of furry friends to play with and you get to watch TV on the couch at night.

- These two Scottish Terrier lasses have raised boxes of puppies and accommodated many scared pets through their life. They are super social. They will show your pet a good time. They are spayed and up to date with all their vaccines.

Walks & outings
We go for walkies and car trips, depending on energy levels & weather conditions. Active pets are happy pets.
Socialising
Pets need to be well socialised to enter into our boarding home. Keep in mind that play dates between pets are extremely good for their overall well being.
Play Time
There is a big yard to play and plenty of shelter. Also doggy swimming pools for the extra hot days.
We roam free
We are not trapped in kennels!! All pets roam free. A certain degree of separation is possible for the faint-hearted and the seniors while the human steps away from the premises.
Small to medium breeds
Although we mainly cater to the smaller breeds, consideration to the medium to large furries might be discussed.
Boarding parent
Our boarding parent is very familiar with most health & behavioral issues, so please feel at ease about sending pets who require medication. Christell has many years of rescue and welfare experience behind her and she can handle most situations.
Pet Boarding
Pet boarding from R120 a day per pet.
- A full day would be 24 hours. Another R50 fee will be charged per half day thereafter.
- A discount may be charged for multiple visitors from the same home simultaneously.

During week days, at secure premises, where Boarding Parent work from home.

- Doggy Daycare for Week days (and obviously weekends) available at the secure home premises of the Boarding Parent from R80 a day.
- Clipping of dog nails @ R60 (owner holds pet)
- Clipping of small Critter’s nails @ R50
- Pet Deworming @ R30 per 10kg
- De-fleeing your pet @ R50 ( via Frontline or Bravecto Spray )
- Spot-On Tick treatment (last 2-3 months) @ R 60
- Cleansing Bath – Available on demand:
- Small breeds (up to 10kg) @ R50
- Medium Breeds (up to 20kg) @ R75
- Larger Breeds ( over 20kg) @ R100

Adoptions / Rescues
We foster homeless dogs (and kittens sometimes). Responsible homing of pets are important and applicants get scrutinized strictly.

Products
We have used LIEBE Dog Food for many years here at this home. We see damaged dogs in general, with distressed coats and skin. Mostly Yorkies, Poodles, Scottish Terriers, Toypoms, even the really allergic skinned Jack Russel Terrier and Pitbull breeds. The Aloe extract in Liebe has a fantastic effect on their hair. Aloe has been instrumental in the limited or No Use of chemical products to fight fleas & Ticks.

What to bring
Always be sure to bring your pet’s harness or collar with. (it makes walkies possible) For overnight stays - please also bring your pet's food and any medicines they need to take.
Vaccinations
Please insure your pet’s yearly vaccinations are up to date. We can not guarantee your pet’s safety against contagious puppy viruses.
Toys, blankets & beds
We have loads of toys, blankies and beds available & therefore we ask that you rather leave yours nice & clean at home. Unless your pet has a ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE toy or blanket, then please bring it along.
Play is enouraged
Your pet may play and get dirty over here. This is a fun place!
Sterilisation
An unsterilised pet causes havoc in a home with several furries. Keep in mind that you might be turned away due to this. (Circumstantial reasons might change this, especially when pets are under the age of spay or neuter)
Fosters
Welfare doggies also visit from time to time until they find a forever home. Your pup will therefore have these doggies to socialise with as well.
